WP Tested Lab is an independent WordPress plugin testing lab. We install every plugin we write about on a real WordPress setup, run it through hands-on tests, and publish what we actually find — including real speed benchmarks and screenshots from our own test environment.
How we test
Every plugin is tested hands-on: we install it, configure it the way a regular site owner would, and measure what matters — performance impact, ease of use, reliability, and whether it does what it promises. Our results come from our own lab environment at the time of testing, not from marketing copy.
Who runs this site
WP Tested Lab is run by Ghulam Fareed, a WordPress developer since 2022 who has built more than 40 WordPress sites. This site grew out of that day-to-day work: constantly evaluating plugins for real projects and wanting a place to publish honest, repeatable test results.
No paid rankings
We do not sell rankings, and we never present sponsored placements as test results. If we ever use affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed — and they never influence how a plugin scores in our tests.
